BELMONT, N.C./ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team returned to action with a pair of split-squad matches against West Virginia Wesleyan and No. 6 Flagler Friday.
The Crusaders went 1-1 on the day as they defeated West Virginia Wesleyan 5-2 and fell to Flagler 7-0. Against the Bobcats,
Charlie Fremaux won in both singles and doubles play.
The results move Belmont Abbey to 12-8 on the season.
The Crusaders conclude its Florida trip with a contest against No. 5 Barry at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Augustine.
