CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team concluded play at the Scenic City Showcase with a matchup against host North Georgia Saturday afternoon.
 
The Crusaders battled but it was the Nighthawks who came away with the 7-0 victory.
 
With Saturday's result, Belmont Abbey is now 7-7 on the season while North Georgia moves to 11-0. Full scores will be available at a later date.
 
Belmont Abbey returns home next week to face Columbus State on Tuesday before opening Conference Carolinas play against King Wednesday at the Reidy Tennis Center.
