GREENWOOD, S.C./FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team returned to the court Tuesday in split-squad action on the road Tuesday afternoon against Lander and Mary Washington Tuesday.
The Crusaders dropped a 6-1 decision to Lander while Mary Washington won both of their matches, 9-0 and 7-2, in a doubleheader.
Chase Martin and
Jackson Korta won in No. 1 doubles while
Tim Stemler won in No. 3 singles against the No. 13 Bearcats.
Against the Eagles of UWM, Mayhew/McGregor won in doubles play while
Jonas Berglund earned a win in No. 2 singles. The full results of the match at Mary Washington will be available Wednesday.
With Tuesday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 4-4 on the season.

- The Crusaders split the squad again Friday with four total matches.
- The team will play Lincoln Memorial in a doubleheader followed by a matchup against Union (Ky.) in Harrogate, Tenn.
- Belmont Abbey will also host North Carolina A&T at 3 p.m. the same day at the Wheeler Center.
