SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Belmont Abbey Cheerleading finished second in the All-Girl Intermediate Division Saturday at the 2023 Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Cheerleading Championship. The event was held in conjunction with the conference basketball tournament March 3-5 at the Jerry Richardson Arena on the Wofford campus.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Belmont Abbey posted a score of 78.73 for its routine, second behind North Greenville's 80.92 in the division. The total left The Abbey fourth overall.
• The Crusaders had their best scores in Collegiate Image (16.33), jumps (9.10), running tumbling (8.37) and standing tumbling (8.20)
• The overall winner was Lees-McRae with a score of 81.38 in the Co-Ed Advanced division. Barton was third at 79.17.
