HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team earned a pair of victories against Lincoln Memorial and Coker on Saturday at a South Atlantic Conference Carolinas tri-match Saturday at the DeLoach Center.
The Crusaders earned wins in 19 of the 20 bouts during the tri-match (three by forfeit) highlighted by a pair of pins from
Justin Crawford in his bouts at 165 pounds.
Christos Avgeros,
Elijah Boyd,
Tyler Pepe and
Joe Pesce also earned a pin in of their two respective bouts on the afternoon.
The Crusaders improved to 8-10 overall and 4-5 in the conference standings. Coker and Lincoln Memorial finished the day with identical 1-7 records in conference play and overall records of 3-7 and 2-10, respectively.
