BELMONT, N.C. and BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's tennis teams competed in a pair of dual matches Wednesday at home against Wingate and at Gardner-Webb in split-squad action.
At home against Wingate, the men fell 5-2 while the Gardner-Webb match resulted in a 5-0 defeat. Belmont Abbey and Gardner-Webb were scheduled to play a doubleheader before rain forced the cancelation of the second scheduled match.
With the results, Belmont Abbey is now 5-4 on the season.
