GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team had one of its busiest days of competition this season as the team traveled to Lander to compete in the Carolina Clash.
 
The Crusaders went 2-2 overall on the day with victories over Notre Dame (Ohio) and Frostburg State and losses to Glenville State and Lander.
 
Maxwell Kiel finished with four victories on the day, including a victory over Lander's Jack Tangen. Colin Bradshaw, Justin Crawford and Skyler Caban were among the Crusaders who won three bouts during the event.
 
Following Saturday's results, the Crusaders are 4-3 overall and 2-2 in Conference Carolinas competition.
