GREENSBURG, PA. and BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team had a busy day Saturday as the teams competed at two different sites.
 
Some of the Crusaders went on the road to Seton Hill University to compete in a quad match with Davis & Elkins, Lake Erie College and host Seton Hill.
 
Elijah Boyd led Belmont Abbey with three bout wins in the 125 pound weight class while Tyler Pepe (149) earned victories in both bouts he competed in.
 
As a team, Belmont Abbey went 1-2 on the day with the victory coming over Davis & Elkins and are now 2-4 on the season.

Additionally, the other half of the Crusaders competed in an open meet at the King Open Saturday in Bristol, Tenn. Will Cline (133), Aaron Zebrauskas (125) and Joe Pesce (197) finished second, third and fourth to lead the team. The full results can be found here.
