Kai Lloveras won his eighth straight singles match, as the Belmont Abbey men's tennis team won a 4-3 contest over Barton. The Crusaders end their regular season on a four-match winning streak, and finish with a 13-10 record, including 7-1 in conference. Barton ends its season with a 10-5 record, including a 5-3 conference mark.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Belmont Abbey swept doubles play to start the contest, highlighted by a 6-2 victory at #3
- Nelson Stafford earned a solid 6-1, 6-0 victory at #2 singles. It was his fourth singles victory in a row
- Lloveras also won a convincing 6-4, 6-2 match at #6 singles. He has now won eight singles matches in a row
