Laura Seib earned wins in both singles and doubles, but the Belmont Abbey women's tennis team lost at Lees-McRae this afternoon 4-3. The Crusaders are now 5-10 on the year, with a 4-3 conference record. The Bobcats are now 5-5 overall, with a 4-4 conference mark.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Abbey won the doubles point, as Carlie Davis and Laura Seib earned a convincing 6-2 win at the #3 spot, while Elliott Peterson and Kayla Vaughan teamed up for a 7-6 victory at #2
- Seib also won her singles matchup in convincing fashion, with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the #6 spot
- Sylvia Goldsmith also earned a 2-set victory at #2 singles
