Andres Golindano got wins in both singles and doubles play, and the Belmont Abbey men's tennis team earned a 4-3 win at Emmanuel this afternoon. The victory puts The Abbey at 9-9 on the season, with a 3-0 Conference Carolinas record. The Lions dip to 2-5 overall, and 0-1 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bailey Horne earned a three-set singles win as well as a #1 doubles win, with Kent Shiell. The duo now hold a 7-3 record together
- Golindano had wins at #5 singles and #2 doubles. He and Nelson Stafford now have a 6-1 record
- Kai Lloveras finished out the day with a three-set #6 singles victory. He now owns a 9-2 singles record
