BELMONT, N.C. – The first day of the Midwest Region Duals came to a close after eight matches took place inside the Wheeler Center Friday afternoon. No. 3 Ashland, Tiffin, and No. 16 Findlay ended day one 2-0 with No. 23 Lake Erie and Queens also earning wins. Belmont Abbey, King, No. 14 Newberry, and Coker will look to get in the win column tomorrow as day 2 begins. Matches will start at 9 A.M. inside the Wheeler Center.

In The Crusaders match against N0. 3 Ashland Troy Gregor earned a 12-10 decision in the 141 weight class and Colton Brittain netted a 5-1 decision wrestling at 184.
