NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey wrestling team captured two wins from the Glunt brothers as they competed against ECAC opponent Newberry. The Newberry wolves took the 36-11 win as the Crusaders move to 5-2 on the year and 3-2 in the ECAC. Newberry is now 7-2 on the year and 1-0 in conference matchups.
Jake Glunt captured the 174 lbs. weight class with a pin at 4:10. The fall was his 14th win of the season. Luke Glunt worked a technical fall in the 184 weight class for his seventh victory of the year.
The Crusaders host the Regional Duals Friday and Saturday, Jan. 26 and 27, inside the Wheeler Center.
