Sacred Heart Gymnasium

Sacred Heart is Belmont Abbey College’s satellite campus which is home to classrooms, offices, and a gymnasium. The gymnasium is used by Abbey Wrestling, Cheerleading, and Acrobatics & Tumbling as a daily practice facility.

The satellite campus was home to Sacred Heart College from 1892-1987. This was a Roman Catholic liberal arts college that was operated by the Sisters of Mercy.

The Sacred Heart Gymnasium has an auxiliary weight room for all three teams to use. In addition, Cheerleading and Acrobatics & Tumbling both have full floors, crash mats, an air track, panel mats and a stunt belt while Wrestling has a full sized competition mat with 4 additional practice inbounds.
