Knust Tops Career-High Saves vs Emmanuel

BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team tallied 20 shots against Emmanuel leading to a 0-0 draw. Abbey keeper Ben Knust recorded his career-high 11 saves as the Crusaders move to 3-4-1 on the year and 3-0-1 in Conference Carolinas play. Emmanuel moves to 5-1-1 with a 2-0-1 conference record.

  • The second half saw nine corner kicks and 13 more shots between the two clubs.
  • The Abbey outshot the Lions in the first overtime 5-2 and in the second overtime 3-1.
