Sneider Drives in Four Runs Against Wingate

BELMONT, N.C. – The Belmont Abbey baseball team collected 12 hits and scored seven runs in their contest against Wingate (4-0) at Abbey Yard Tuesday. Ben Sneider drove in four runs with his three hits to lead The Abbey (1-3).


Jakob Rolly had two hits in the game.

Sneider roped a bases-loaded double into the right-center field gap in the fourth inning.

Mason Dodd and Sneider both scored two runs each.

Quinton Pittman started for Belmont Abbey collecting five strikeouts in his 3.1 innings of work.

Alex Nodarse struck out five in 2.2 innings.

Jason White fanned five Bulldogs in 2.0 innings.
