Women's Tennis Closes Out Hilton Head Trip with Shutout of Kutztown

HILTON HEAD, SC - The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team completed its trip to Hilton Head with a 9-0 shutout of the Kutztown Golden Bears today.  The win puts the Abbey at 6-7 on the season, while the Golden Bears dipped to 0-5.

Junior Erika Noblett had the quickest singles game with a 6-1, 6-0 performance at #5 singles. Freshman Aisiri Jandyala was also solid, going 6-1, 6-1 at #1 singles.  At the #3 spot, Rachele Subik won 6-2, 6-1.

The Crusaders had a very strong performance at doubles, with two of the three duos earning 8-0 shutouts.

Belmont Abbey will return to conference action tomorrow when it visits King for a 10am match in Bristol, TN.
