Women's Golf Announces Three Early Signees

BELMONT, N.C. -- The Belmont Abbey Women's Golf program added three players during the 2016-17 early signing period, head coach Jason Gault announced today. All three golfers will join the Crusader program in August for the 2017-18 season.

 

Jenna Nagy (Apex, N.C./Panther Creek HS)

A four-year letterwinner of the Panther Creek High School girls golf team… was the team's Most Valuable Player in 2015 & 2016... named to the SWAC All-Conference Academic Team all four years... a first-team all-conference pick in 2016 and second team selection in 2015... finished 16th at the 2016 NCHSAA 4A State Golf Championship in 2016, 39th in 2015… Won the 2016 TYGA State Junior Championship in Buies Creek on November 20, 2016… Also a three-year letterwinner on the Panther Creek Swim Team.
 

Erin Walsh (Zebulon, N.C./Franklin Academy)

Four-year member of the girls golf team at Franklin Academy in Wake Forest… tied for eighth at the 2016 1A/2A East regional Golf Tournament where she made her first-career hole-in-one… recorded a 23rd-place finish at the 2016 NCHSAA 1A/2A Women's Golf State Tournament at Foxfire Golf and Country Club… her team was runner-up at both regional and state tournaments… placed 41st at 2015 NCHSAA 1A/2A Women's Golf State Tournament at Longleaf Golf and Country Club.
 

Isabelle Robertson (Cleveland, Ohio/St. Joseph Academy)

Four-year member of the St. Joseph Academy Golf Team… Earned Most Valuable Players honors in 2016… Placed 26th at the Sectional Tournament… Had numerous tournament experience on the North Coast Junior and Hurricane Golf Tours.
