SALISBURY, N.C. -- Belmont Abbey's Kaitlyn Gribbon carded a 76 on Tuesday to finish tied for sixth overall at the 2016 Patsy Rendleman Invitational, played at the Country Club of Salisbury. Gribbon finished the tournament at seven-over 151, 10 strokes behind medalist Abbey Hartsell of Lenoir-Rhyne (73-68=141/-3).
As a team, the Crusaders finished 10th overall, adding a score of 324 to yesterday's season-best of 316 for a total of 640. Tusculum (305-308=613) held onto the lead in round two to take the team title by five strokes over Wingate.
Haley Helton (80-82=162) and Taylor Cozart (82-80=162) tied each other for 32nd, while Dametrah Lewis tied for 53rd at 166 (79-87). Anne Parlmer rounded out the scoring with a 170 (84-86) to finish 64th.
The tournament concluded the fall portion of the Belmont Abbey Women's Golf schedule.
