Women's Golf Finishes Sixth At Smoky Mountain Intercollegiate

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team finished sixth out of eight teams at the Smoky Mountain Intercollegiate, a 36 hole event hosted by Carson-Newman at the par 72 Seveirville Country Club.

Belmont Abbey opened with a 332 and closed with a 338 as Kaitlyn Gribbon carded rounds of 77 and 79 to finish tied for eighth.

Senior Sarah King posted rounds of 85 and 82 to finish alone in 27th. Haley Helton closed with an 84 after shooting an opening round 87 to finish alone in 31st.  Anne Parlmer finished tied for 31st with scores of 83 and 93 and Alex Miliotis carded rounds of 93 and 103 to finish alone in 41st.

Jamie Treece, competing as individual, shaved two strokes off of yesterday's round to finish alone in 32nd.
