Women's Golf Cards 326 To Sit In Fifth After Opening Round Of  Cutter Creek Invitational

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team carded an opening round 326 to sit in fifth place out of ten teams aft the season opening Cutter Creek Invitational. The 36 hole event is staged at the par 72 Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Camp, North Carolina and hosted by Barton College.

Senior Sarah King sits alone in ninth, just four shots out of the lead, after carding a five over 77. Kaitlyn Gribbon is three shots back as she is grouped among five players that are tied for 17th.

Anne Parlmer sits in a tie for 26th with a round of 82 and Haley Helton is tied for 33rd with an 87. Lauren Brychell opened with a 92 as she is tied for 44th.

Belmont Abbey enters tomorrow's final round ten shots out of fourth and sixteen behind a pair of teams that are tied for second.
