Men's Cross Country Finishes Seventh At Conference Carolinas Championships

The Belmont Abbey men's cross country team raced to seventh at the Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships, which was hosted by the Crusaders at Frank Liske Park in Concord, North Carolina. Belmont Abbey finished with 175 points.

The race was 8000 meters, just shy of five miles, as Mount Olive captured the title with a perfect score of 15.

Sophomore Patrick Lester led the Crusaders with a 23rd place finish, crossing the line with a time of 28:58.  Freshman Thomas Eichorn was next, as his time of 30:13 was good for 38th, two spots ahead of Connor Buhrmeister, who crossed the line at 30:25.

Nicholas Snell was next, as he finished 42nd with a time of 30:34. David Iverson raced to 40th with a time of 31:21 and EJ Cerdeiras was 68th with a time of 34:24.
