Delaney Scores Two Victories As Men's Tennis Falls To Barton, 7-2

Belmont Abbey freshman James Delaney accounted for both of the Belmont Abbey points as the men's tennis team lost 7-2 to the visiting Barton Bulldogs this afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.

The Kent, England product teamed with Nikhil Reddy Amaresh to earn a marathon 9-7 win at number three doubles.

Moving to singles, Delaney scored a straight sets victory at the third spot, as he posted a 7-5, 6-3 win.

The Crusaders had just one match go to three sets, as Conner McMann rallied for a 6-3 win in the second set after dropping the first 7-6. He then fell 6-0 in the decisive set.
