Men's Tennis Loses To Top-Seeded Mount Olive, 5-0 In Conference Carolinas Quarterfinal

Playing in the Conference Carolinas Tournament for the first time since the program was restarted in 2010, the Belmont Abbey men's tennis team lost to the top-seeded University of Mount Olive Trojans 5-0 this afternoon at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina.

The Trojans advance to Saturday's semifinal as they improve to 16-1, while the Abbey ends its season with a mark of 2-15.

In the Conference Carolinas Tournament, once the overall outcome is decided (five matches won), the other matches are stopped in progress and counted as unfinished.

Mount Olive won all three doubles matches and claimed wins at five and six singles.
