Stafford Ties for Fourth at Tennessee River Rumble

LENOIR CITY, Tenn. -- Belmont Abbey's Nick Stafford tied for fourth in the individual standings, and Levi Kettelhut played even-par golf on Wednesday, leading the Crusaders to a sixth-place finish with a score of 610 at the 2018 Tennessee River Rumble.

Carson Newman won the team title with a score of 26-over 602, while Lincoln Memorial's Dan Bradbury was the individual medalist at two-over 146.

Stafford followed his 73 on Tuesday with a 74 in the second round to finish at 149 (+5), while Kettelhut dropped seven shots from his opening round 79 to move all the way into a tie for 11th (79-72=159). Chris Kopack tied for 32nd at 155 (77-78), which Maurizio Debono tied for 41st at 156 (80-76). Michael Mead rounded out the "A" team scoring with a total of 164 (87-77/t72).

The Abbey's "B" team finished 13th with a score of 633. Sean Miller tied for 29th (77-77/154), while John Molyneaux tied for 46th at 157 (77-80). Landon Isaacs tallied a pair of 82s (164) to tie for 72nd, while Madison Duffie tied for 84th at 177 (85-92).

Oliver Arsenault topped the "C" team with a score of 155 (80-75) to tie for 32nd, while Nick Scott was tied for 82nd at 176 (87-89). Trevor Huffman placed 88th at 185 (87-98), while Zane Galloway was one stroke behind (87-99) in 89th. Jamie Mayberry rounded out the team score at 203 (105-98).

The Crusaders wrap up their 2017-18 regular-season in two weeks at the Conference Carolinas Championship.
