GREENVILLE, S.C. – Nick Stafford finished tied for the lead in the Southern Tide Classic with the results from the first two rounds holding through as the final results. The final round was canceled due to inclement weather with the final standing reverting to the results from day one. North Greenville's Chase Fisher was named the individual medalist winning the scorecard tire breaker by carding the lowest score on the back nine of round two.
In the Richard Rendleman Invitational, Belmont Abbey finished tenth and 17th in Salisbury, N.C. The Crusader completed the second round of the tournament shooting a 318 finishing with a 634.
Belmont Abbey's top performer was Brody Davis who finished tied for 21st finishing the second round with a 78. Sean Miller finished 38th with a 79 in the second round and Landon Isaacs's 77 earned him a share of 39th place. Madison Duffie (83) and Michael Mead (88 both finished tied for 51st. Oliver Aresnault finished tied for 57th, Trevor Huffman tied for 79th, and Zane Galloway tied for 82nd.
Wingate won the tournament shooting a 575 and Jordan Vogler of Lenoir-Rhyne took first place with a 138 (-4).
Belmont Abbey will compete in the Wingate Invitational at the Monroe Country Club March 12.
