AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Nick Stafford posted his third straight sub-par round with a two-under 70 Tuesday to claim medalist honors by one stroke at the 2016 Jay Jennison Cup, held at the World Golf Village. The junior added to his 68-69 total yesterday to finish at nine-under 216, one stroke over the second-place finisher, Ethan Chamineak of Georgia Southwestern.
The Crusaders climbed one spot to third with a final-round total of 293. The 54-hole score of 869 was 15 strokes behind tournament winner West Florida (10-under 854). Barry was second at 862.
Parker See continued his strong play, finishing at even par Tuesday for a score of 220 (79-69-72) to tie for 29th. John Molyneaux (77-71-78) and Levi Kettelhut (75-78-73) each tied for 51st at 226, while Jacob Scruggs finished in a tie for 71st at 229 (74-73-82).
