Beinlich Named ABCA/Rawlings Div. II All-American

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Nick Beinlich has been named to the 2017 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-America Second-Team by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Sporting Goods.

Beinlich finished the season with a conference best 22 home runs, 164 total bases, 76 runs, and 34 stolen bases. The junior outfielder's season contained numerous highlights including a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to beat Barton 5-3 in the first game of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. In the regular season series at Barton, Beinlich hit .625 with 10 hits including four home runs and 11 RBI.

The Easton, Pa. Native also earned First-Team All-American honors by the NCBWA. Beinlich was also named to the NCBWA Pre-Season All-Southeast Region as well as the NCBWA, D2CCA, and the ABCA/Rawlings First-Team All-Southeast Region teams this spring. They Conference Carolinas Player of the Year also earned a First-Team All-Conference selection in his junior season.
