DALLAS, TEXAS – Nick Beinlich was named to the First-Team All-America by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Beinlich earned First-Team All-Southeast Region, First-Team All-Conference Carolinas and Conference Carolinas Player of the Year in his junior season.
The outfielder from Easton, Pa. finished the season with a conference best 22 home runs, 164 total bases, 76 runs, and 34 stolen bases. Beinlich was also named to the 2017 Preseason All-Southeast Region team by the NCBWA as well as the regional player of the week March 14.
Beinlich's season contained numerous highlights including a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to beat Barton 5-3 in the first game of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. In the regular season series at Barton, Beinlich hit .625 with 10 hits including four home runs and 11 RBI.
