DALLAS, TEXAS - Nick Beinlich and Colin Rosenbaum earned All-Southeast Region honors as voted by the National Baseball Writers of America. Both Beinlich and Rosenbaum were names to the 2017 Preseason All-Southeast Region team back in January by the NCBAW. Both Crusaders were also honorable mentions in the all-region poll last season.
Beinlich earned First-Team All-Conference Carolinas as well as the conference Player of the Year. The outfielder from Easton, Pa. finished the season with a conference best 22 home runs, 164 total bases, 76 runs, and 34 stolen bases. Beinlich was also named to the 2017 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region team.
Rosenbaum also earned all-conference honors as he was named to the Second-Team All-Conference Carolinas as a utility player. The Archdale, N.C. native, finished third in the conference in walks, second in sacrifice flies, and fourth doubles.
The Crusaders finished the season 37-17 with a 19-8 Conference Carolinas record, making it to the conference tournament championship game against No. 1 Mount Olive.
