Three Women's Soccer Players Earn Post-Season Honors

Belmont Abbey sophomore forward Connie Axiotis senior defender Amanda Maddock and senior forward Celene Molera were recognized with postseason honors by a multitude of organizations. Axiotis earned first-team all-region honors by Daktronics and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, as well as first-team all-state honors by the North Carolina Sports Information Directors Association. Maddock was named second-team all-region by Daktronics and by the NSCAA, and Molera picked up third-team all-region honors by the NSCAA.... (more)

Women's Soccer Falls To Armstrong Atlantic State, 5-0

The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team fell 5-0 to Armstrong Atlantic State in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regional in Columbus, Georgia. AASU improves to 16-3-3, while the Abbey ends its season at 14-6.... (more)

Women's Soccer To Face Armstrong Atlantic State In Opening Round Of NCAA Tournament

The Conference Carolinas champion Belmont Abbey women's soccer team will travel to Columbus, Georgia and face Armstrong Atlantic State in the opening round of the NCAA Division II women's soccer tournament beginning Friday night. Kickoff time will be determined later.... (more)
