December 21, 2009 Three Women's Soccer Players Earn Post-Season HonorsBelmont Abbey sophomore forward Connie Axiotis senior defender Amanda Maddock and senior forward Celene Molera were recognized with postseason honors by a multitude of organizations. Axiotis earned first-team all-region honors by Daktronics and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, as well as first-team all-state honors by the North Carolina Sports Information Directors Association. Maddock was named second-team all-region by Daktronics and by the NSCAA, and Molera picked up third-team all-region honors by the NSCAA....
