Five Women's Lacrosse Players Named To IWLCA Academic Squad

Five Belmont Abbey women's lacrosse players were among 407 student-athletes at 152 institutions for their excellence in the classroom during the 2008-09 academic year, as recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. All student-athletes were nominated by their institutions and have attained at least junior standing academically. Nominees considered had a GPA of at least 3.5 or were in the top 10 percent of their squad. ... (more)

Women's Lacrosse Loses To Limestone In Conference CarolinasTournament Final, 12-6

The Limestone College women’s lacrosse team won the Conference Carolinas tournament championship as the Lady Saints earned a 12-6 win over Belmont Abbey in the finals game on Sunday. Limestone, also the conference regular season champion, improves to 16-1 on the year as the Crusaders fall to 14-5 on the season. ... (more)
