Women's Lacrosse Falls To Top-Seeed Limestone 14-7 In Conference Carolnas Championship Game

The second-seeded Belmont Abbey women's lacrosse team fell to the top-seeded Limestone Saints 14-7 this afternoon in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship game. The Saints improve to 17-1, while the Abbey ends its season with a 9-9 record.... (more)

Mohn's Late Goal Lifts Women's Lacrosse Into Conference Carolinas Title Game With 12-11 Victory Over Queens

Belmont Abbey freshman Elyse Mohn broke an 11-11 tie by scoring the winning goal with 19 seconds left to vault the second-seeded Crusaders past the third-seeded Queens University Royals 12-11 this afteroon in the Conference Carolinas Tournament semifinal at the Queens Sports Complex. The Abbey advances to the conference title game for the third-straight year as it improves to 9-8, while Queens ends its season at 7-10.... (more)

Women's Lacrosse Ends Regular Season With 20-8 Win At Converse To Up Winning Streak To Four

Belmont Abbey senior midfielder Laurie Jordan scored six goals on nine shots, one of eight Crusaders to score goals, as the Abbey ended the regular season with a 20-8 win at Converse this afternoon. Belmont Abbey, winners of four straight, move its record to the .500 mark at 8-8 and 5-2 in Conference Carolinas, while Converse falls to 6-11 overall and 2-5 in Conference Carolinas.... (more)
