Belmont Abbey College Women's Soccer Elite Camp

The Elite Positional Camp is offered for serious and advanced soccer players. The camp will place emphasis on preparing top level 9-12 graders for play at the elite level. Training sessions are developed by the Belmont Abbey College women’s soccer staff and include the use of current Abbey soccer players, as well as highly skilled coaching staff members from other colleges and successful ODP and club programs. Specific positional training will enhance and develop technical skills and tactical awareness for the highly competitive player.

Campers will utilize the same athletic facilities our Belmont Abbey College student-athletes experience. Campers will be housed in local off-campus facilities, provided transportation to and from sessions, as well as provided meals for the duration of the camp. Feature areas of emphasis will include speed and agility training, weight training, nutrition and academic preparation.

Camp Objective
The primary purpose of our camp is to help make you a better soccer player. Our camp is designed to improve the skill level and tactical understanding of all players. Training and game sessions will be intense and competitive to challenge every level of the player’s ability. During the evening full-sided matches, we encourage you to exhibit the skills you have learned during the daily sessions. Our staff is highly qualified and motivated to help our camp and the individual participants reach our objectives. We are enthusiastic about making your camp experience rewarding and enjoyable. A written evaluation will be provided for each camper at the completion of camp.

Lodging
Campers will be lodged at the Hampton Inn located less than a mile from the Belmont Abbey College Campus. Members of the camp staff will be staying at the hotel in an effort to monitor campers as well as be of assistance for any complications that may arise. The safety of our campers is of top priority to our staff.

Check In
Location and directions will be sent to you prior to the start of your camp session. Check-in will be held from
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. the first day of your camp with a full afternoon schedule to follow.

Check Out
Check out for all campers will take place at the hotel following Sunday’s last session at 11:00 a.m.

Shuttle Service
Shuttle service to and from the Charlotte airport is available. The service includes pickup at the baggage claim upon arrival and drop off outside the terminal at departure. Interested campers need to contact the camp office as soon as possible. Times of arrival and departure are needed to confirm the shuttle reservation.

Health Care & Insurance
A health history form and insurance form will be emailed once we have received the application. A camper is not allowed to compete unless we have a fully completed health form, signed by a physician, on file. Athletic trainers are on duty at all times to administer to minor injuries and sickness.
