Joey Frabasile Named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week

Joey Frabasile Earned The Conference Carolinas Weekly Honor

Belmont Abbey senior first baseman Joey Frabasile has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Baseball Player of the Week during week number eleven of the 2012 season.

Frabasile led the Abbey to a 4-1 week, hitting .545 with four doubles, a homer and six RBI. In the win at Mars Hill, he finished 3-6 with two runs scored. In the win over Lenoir-Rhyne, he was 3-5 with a double and two RBI. In game one against Barton, he was 2-4 with a double, a homer and four RBI. After going 1-3 in game two, he wrapped up the series with a 3-4 effort with two doubles and a walk. 

The Crusaders are 29-16 overall on the season, and 17-7 in conference play.
