Women's Golf In 16th After Opening Round Of Hargett Intercollegiate

The Belmont Abbey women's golf team sits in 16th place out of 17 teams after the opening round of the J. Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate, hosted by Wingate University. The Crusaders totaled a team score of 345 as they sit three shots back of Coker and seven of UNC Pembroke.

Sara Jackson posted an opening round score of 79, seven over par, as she sits in a tie for 18th. Jenn Weiland is three shots back as she stands in a tie for 37th.

Rebecca Mirovich opened with an 84 to sit in a tie for 52nd, and Courtney Beal fired an even 100 as she is alone in 89th. The final round begins tomorrow morning.
