Women's Track & Field Competes At Kent Tayor Invitational

The Belmont Abbey women's track and field team competed at the Kent Taylor Indoor Invitational today on the campus of the University of North Carolina.

In the 200 metter dash, Lauren Smith finished 14th out of 24 with a time of 27.70, and Meisha Quarterman finished 20th with a time of 29.20.

Smith and Quarterman also ran in the 60 meter dash, with Smith finishing 14th out of 27th with a time of 8.40 and Quarterman 21st with a time 8.54.

Leondra Pridgen raced to a 19th place finish out of 26 competitors in the 400 meter run, clocking a time of 1:05.71. Allyson Craven raced in the 3,000 meters, and finished 18th out of 31 with a time of 11:20.36.
