Laurie Jordan Scored 12 Goals On 17 Shots In Two Games

Belmont Abbey College senior midfielder Laurie Jordan has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas women's lacrosse Player of the Week during week number eight in the 2010 season.

Jordan led the Crusaders to a pair of Conference wins this week, scoring 12 goals on 17 shots, with three assists for 15 points. She also had ten draw control wins, two ground balls and four caused turnovers.

In the win at Lees-McRae, Jordan scored five goals on five shots with two assists, four draw control wins and three caused turnovers. In the win over Queens, she scored seven goals on 12 shots with one assist for eight points. She also had two ground balls, six draw control wins and a caused turnover.
