Women's Soccer To Face Armstrong Atlantic State In Opening Round Of NCAA Tournament

The Conference Carolinas champion Belmont Abbey women's soccer team will travel to Columbus, Georgia and face Armstrong Atlantic State in the opening round of the NCAA Division II women's soccer tournament beginning Friday night. Kickoff time will be determined later.

Belmont Abbey is 13-5, while Armstrong Atlantic is 15-3-3. The winner will face Columbus State Sunday.

Belmont Abbey last faced Armstrong Atlantic in 2008 with the Pirates taking the 2-0 win.

This is the Abbey's fourth appearance in the NCAA Regional and the first since 2001.
