Men's Golf Earns Bid To NCAA Southeast Regional

The Belmont Abbey men's golf team has been selected to participate in the NCAA South/Southeast Super Regional, to be hosted by the University of North Alabama May 4-6 at the Robert Trent Jones of the Shoals Fighting Joe Course. The Abbey will be among 20 teams broken down into a pair of ten team regions, with the top five teams and the top two individuals not with a team from each regional (regardless of region) will advance to the finals The finals will be hosted by Western Washington University.

Belmont Abbey will be competing in the toughest Super Regional in the nation. A team from either the South or Southeast Region has won the last 15 straight Division II championships and 24 of the last 25.  The Abbey has won its regional each of the last two years.
